For busy counters, remembering to scan a loyalty QR code on every sale is easy to forget, and a missed scan is a customer who quietly stops trusting the program. StampEzee's point-of-sale integration closes that gap: when a sale is rung up on a connected POS like Lightspeed, the matching stamps or points are issued automatically, no extra tap needed from your Loyalty Executives.
Loyalty programs live or die on consistency. If a Loyalty Executive forgets to scan a customer's QR code during a lunch rush, that customer's stamp card falls behind what they actually spent, and repeated misses erode trust in the program faster than almost anything else.
Manual scanning also adds a step to every transaction, which matters at a counter that is already handling payment, bagging and the next person in line. StampEzee's POS integration removes that step entirely: the loyalty side of the transaction happens automatically alongside the sale itself, so staff can stay focused on the register instead of juggling a second device or app.
Once your POS is connected, StampEzee listens for completed sales. Each sale's total, or the specific items in it depending on how the card is configured, is matched against the stamp or point rules on the customer's card, and the reward is issued the moment the sale closes.
The customer still needs to be identified at checkout, usually by having their StampEzee app or wallet pass QR code scanned or entered alongside the sale, the same way a loyalty card would be shown. From there, everything else happens in the background: the stamp count updates, the wallet pass refreshes, and the transaction shows up on the retailer's analytics dashboard like any other issued stamp.
Connecting a supported POS such as Lightspeed takes a few steps from the web dashboard: authorising StampEzee to read completed sales, then mapping how those sales translate into rewards, for example one stamp per visit regardless of spend, or a set number of points per currency unit spent.
Full setup steps are in the help center, and support is available if a mapping needs adjusting after launch.
POS integration is not meant to replace every other way of collecting a stamp. Branches without a connected POS, or staff working a market stall or pop-up, can still scan a customer's QR code directly from the StampEzee app. Ezee Codes remain the best option for takeaway and delivery orders, where a customer can enter a printed one-time code themselves instead of a staff member scanning anything.
Retailers can mix all three methods on the same stamp or point card, so a customer builds toward the same reward whether they paid at a connected till, were scanned by a Loyalty Executive, or entered an Ezee Code at home.
Lightspeed is the first point-of-sale system StampEzee connects to directly, with additional integrations planned based on what retailers ask for most. If your POS isn't supported yet, manual scanning by your Loyalty Executives and Ezee Codes for takeaway and delivery cover the gap in the meantime, and nothing about your existing stamp or point card setup needs to change once a new integration does become available.
Setup guides for each supported POS live in the help center, and you can flag a system you'd like to see supported through in-app support.
