In this scenario, Riverpearl Tea Bar opened its first counter in central Richmond, serving brown sugar milk tea, fresh fruit teas and house-made taro. It added a second Richmond shop in Steveston Village, then two Burnaby locations near Metrotown and Brentwood, a short walk from SkyTrain stations.
Its customers are mostly students, commuters and families who stop by after school or work. Summer brings long lines for iced fruit teas; the rainy months from November to March are quieter, and that is exactly when owner Vivian Tsang wants her regulars to keep coming back.
Vivian wants one loyalty program that works the same way at all four counters, rewards customers who come back every week, and gives her a clear picture of which locations are building regulars. It has to be fast: during the after-school rush, staff cannot spend extra seconds on every order.
She also wants a way to reach regulars who have opted in to hear from the shop, so new seasonal drinks and slow rainy weeks are not left to chance.

In this example, Riverpearl starts with paper punch cards, and the problems are familiar to many small chains:
A loyalty program that keeps up with the bubble tea rush
Riverpearl designs a digital stamp card in StampEzee with its own colours and a pearl icon: ten stamps earn a free drink, with a free topping unlocked at stamp five so the first reward feels closer. Customers join by scanning the QR code at the counter and add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, where the pass updates live after every stamp. One card works at all four locations.
For delivery and online pickup orders, staff drop a printed one-time Ezee Code into the bag. Customers enter it in the StampEzee app to collect their stamp, so orders that never reach the counter still count toward the next free drink.
Counter staff work as Loyalty Executives: they scan the customer's QR code to add a stamp or redeem a reward in a few seconds. A cap on stamps per visit keeps group orders fair, and Vivian approves any stamp corrections from the dashboard. A daily leaderboard with XP and badges gives the team a friendly reason to invite new members.
Vivian sets up a Refer & Earn campaign so students who bring a friend earn a bonus, a Scratch & Win promotion for each seasonal drink launch, birthday rewards, and a lapsed-customer campaign that reaches opted-in members by push notification or email when the rainy season slows visits. The analytics dashboard shows members, visits, redemptions and repeat-visit rate for each location, so in this example she could spot that one Burnaby shop is lagging and focus her next campaign there.

"What I want is simple: a card nobody can lose, a stamp that takes two seconds at the counter, and one screen that tells me which location is building regulars and which one needs help."

Café-Bistro La Lucarne

A three-location café-bistro in Saint-Roch, Vieux-Québec and Limoilou uses POS-linked stamp cards, wallet passes and seasonal campaigns to keep locals coming back through the long winter.
Illustrative example: How a Québec City café-bistro group could turn neighbourhood regulars into weekly guests with connected stamp cards
In this example, Café-Bistro La Lucarne, a fictional café-bistro group with three locations in Québec City, replaces paper punch cards with StampEzee. Stamp cards issued automatically through its Lightspeed POS, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and birthday and win-back campaigns could help the owner see a repeat-visit rate of around 46% and about 3,400 engaged members in the first year. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.

A three-shop neighbourhood bakery in Halifax and Dartmouth uses tiered stamp cards, wallet passes and Ezee Codes to keep the morning queue moving and make every purchase count, at every shop.
Illustrative example: How a Halifax bakery group could keep ferry commuters and weekend regulars coming back with one digital stamp card
In this scenario, Fogbound Bakehouse replaces its paper punch cards with a StampEzee stamp card that works at its two Halifax shops and its Downtown Dartmouth shop. In this example, the owner could see about 1,800 customers join in the first year and a repeat-visit rate of around 42% on the analytics dashboard. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.
