In this scenario, Café-Bistro La Lucarne opened in Saint-Roch, serving espresso, house-made viennoiseries and a short bistro menu to the neighbourhood's office workers and students. It later added a small café in Vieux-Québec and a brunch spot in Limoilou.
The three locations have different rhythms: Vieux-Québec is busy with visitors in summer and during the Winter Carnival, while Saint-Roch and Limoilou depend on locals who come back every week. Service is in French and English, and the menu follows the seasons, from terrace drinks in July to soups and tourtière in January.
Owner Geneviève Pelletier wants to reward the locals who keep the bistro going all year, not just summer visitors. She wants one program across all three locations that does not slow down the morning coffee line and that gives her a clear view of which location is building regulars.
She also wants to fill the slow weeks of January and February, when cold and snow keep people at home, by reaching members who have opted in to messages.

In this example, La Lucarne starts with paper punch cards and a lot of goodwill. The problems are easy to recognize:
A connected loyalty program for three neighbourhoods
La Lucarne designs a StampEzee stamp card in its own colours with a dormer-window icon: ten stamps earn a free coffee and viennoiserie, with a free pastry at stamp five as a tiered reward. Through StampEzee's Lightspeed POS integration, the stamp is issued automatically when a member pays, so baristas have nothing to scan during the morning rush. At the counter, staff working as Loyalty Executives can still scan a QR code or redeem a reward in seconds.
Customers join by scanning the QR code on the table card or at the counter, then add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The pass updates live after every visit and works at all three locations, so a regular who has coffee in Saint-Roch on weekdays and brunch in Limoilou on Sundays fills a single card. Visitors in Vieux-Québec can join in seconds too, and their card is waiting for them the next time they are in town.
Automated birthday and anniversary campaigns send a small treat to members who have opted in, by push notification, email or SMS. In January, when the cold keeps everyone at home, a lapsed-customer campaign invites regulars who have not visited in a few weeks back for soup and a coffee. In spring, a Scratch & Win promotion marks the opening of the terraces.
The analytics dashboard shows members, visits, redemptions and repeat-visit rate for Saint-Roch, Vieux-Québec and Limoilou side by side, along with the results of each campaign. In this example, Geneviève could see that Vieux-Québec draws many one-time visitors while Limoilou has the most loyal regulars, and plan staffing and promotions for each location accordingly.

"Our regulars are the ones who come in when it is minus twenty and snowing. I want a simple way to thank them, in French or English, at whichever of our three cafés they walk into."

A four-location bubble tea shop swaps paper punch cards for tiered digital stamp cards, wallet passes and Ezee Codes on delivery orders.
Illustrative example: How a Richmond and Burnaby bubble tea chain could turn after-school stops into weekly habits
In this example, Riverpearl Tea Bar, a fictional bubble tea chain with two locations in Richmond and two in Burnaby, BC, moves its loyalty program to StampEzee. Tiered stamp cards, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes, and Ezee Codes for delivery orders could help the owner see a repeat-visit rate of around 44% and build a base of about 3,600 engaged customers within the first year. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.

Fogbound Bakehouse

A three-shop neighbourhood bakery in Halifax and Dartmouth uses tiered stamp cards, wallet passes and Ezee Codes to keep the morning queue moving and make every purchase count, at every shop.
Illustrative example: How a Halifax bakery group could keep ferry commuters and weekend regulars coming back with one digital stamp card
In this scenario, Fogbound Bakehouse replaces its paper punch cards with a StampEzee stamp card that works at its two Halifax shops and its Downtown Dartmouth shop. In this example, the owner could see about 1,800 customers join in the first year and a repeat-visit rate of around 42% on the analytics dashboard. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.
