In this scenario, Bluestem Auto & Tire started as a two-bay garage in Mill Woods and grew to three locations, adding shops in Callingwood on the west side and Clareview in the northeast. The team handles oil changes, seasonal tire swaps and storage, brakes, batteries and pre-winter inspections.
Like most Edmonton shops, Bluestem lives by the calendar: October and early November are packed with drivers putting on winter tires before the first real snowfall, and April and May bring the swap back to all-seasons, along with pothole repairs. The months in between are much quieter.
Owner Darren Kowalchuk wants drivers who come in for a tire swap to come back for their next oil change, instead of going wherever has the shortest wait. He also wants to smooth out the calendar: fill the quieter weeks of summer and mid-winter, and spread the fall rush over more days so customers wait less.
The program has to be simple for service advisors at a busy front counter and has to work the same way at all three locations.

In this example, Bluestem starts with paper punch cards kept in the glovebox, if customers remember them at all. The problems add up quickly:
A loyalty program built around the tire calendar
Bluestem creates a StampEzee stamp card for oil changes and tire swaps: six stamps earn a free oil change, with a tiered reward at stamp three such as a free tire rotation. For larger jobs like brakes or a new set of tires, a point card lets customers earn points on every dollar spent and redeem them later for service rewards. Service advisors work as Loyalty Executives, scanning the customer's QR code at the counter in seconds.
Customers add their Bluestem card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so it lives on the phone they already have in the car. The pass updates live after every visit and shows how close they are to the next reward, and one card works at all three locations, whether the driver lives in Mill Woods or works near Clareview.
In late September, Darren sends a push notification, email or SMS to members who have agreed to receive messages, reminding them to book their winter tire swap before the first snowfall, while wait times are still short. A lapsed-customer campaign automatically reaches drivers who have not visited in several months, and a birthday reward gives them another reason to stop in. In this example, the fall rush could spread out over more weeks instead of piling up in a few days.
A Refer & Earn campaign rewards customers who send a neighbour or co-worker to Bluestem. The analytics dashboard shows members, visits, stamps issued, redemptions and campaign results for each location, so Darren can compare Mill Woods, Callingwood and Clareview and see which reminders actually bring drivers back.

"Everybody in Edmonton needs their tires changed twice a year. What I want is for those drivers to remember us when it is time for an oil change too, and to see in one place whether my reminders are working."

A three-location wash-and-fold and dry cleaning business replaces paper punch cards with tiered stamp cards, wallet passes and Ezee Codes for after-hours drop-offs.
Illustrative example: How a Mississauga and Brampton dry cleaner could keep wash-and-fold regulars coming back with wallet stamp cards
In this example, Maplecrest Fold & Press, a fictional wash-and-fold and dry cleaning business with two locations in Mississauga and one in Brampton, Ontario, moves its loyalty program to StampEzee. Stamp cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, Ezee Codes for drop-off lockers and pickup-and-delivery orders, and seasonal campaigns could help the owner see a repeat-visit rate of around 41% and about 2,700 engaged members in the first year. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.

A three-location grooming studio in Greater Victoria, BC, replaces paper punch cards with StampEzee stamp cards, wallet passes and friendly reminder campaigns.

In this scenario, Cedar & Suds Pet Grooming moves its loyalty program from paper punch cards to StampEzee across three Greater Victoria locations. In this example, the owner could see about 1,500 pet parents join and a repeat-visit rate of around 52% on the analytics dashboard, with every stamp tracked in one place. This is an illustrative scenario created to show how StampEzee works; it is not a real customer story.
